A Keychain Designed for TAIHU Project

To deepen the project’s core values and foster a sense of team identity, team member Di-Fan Hung specially designed and 3D-printed an exclusive keychain for the TAIHU Project. This keychain, created as a heartfelt gift for every team member, carries with it a sincere message of appreciation and connection.
The design incorporates three symbols of the TAIHU Project — the crane (鵠), the book, and Taiwan — and is crafted using cutting-edge 3D printing technology. These elements reflect the project's commitment to interdisciplinary integration, innovative practice, and humanistic spirit.
In the design:
-
The crane symbolizes aspiration and vision, representing the project’s ambition to advance toward intelligence and the future.
-
The book stands for the foundation and depth of humanistic knowledge, echoing the project's dedication to academic grounding.
-
Taiwan highlights the project's cultural roots and social responsibility, embodying a perspective rooted in the local while engaging with the global.
Together, these three elements form a unique visual and symbolic representation of the TAIHU spirit.
More than a physical object, the keychain serves as a symbol of collaboration — a tangible result of interdisciplinary dialogue and co-creation among members from diverse fields such as the humanities, information technology, and design. Whether faculty, research assistants, or students, holding this keychain is akin to carrying the shared spirit and goals of the TAIHU Project.
Notably, the use of 3D printing in its production aligns with the team’s design philosophy and aesthetic vision, showcasing how technology and creativity converge in practice. It is our hope that the TAIHU Project will continue to drive deep integration between AI and the humanities, opening new spaces for knowledge dialogue and cultural imagination through diverse actions in design, technology, and implementation.
